S3 Storage

S3 is object storage — a place to durably store files/blobs (images, videos, backups, logs, raw data dumps) as key-value objects. It has no query engine, no schema, no SQL. You store bytes under a key and retrieve them by that key. Extremely cheap per GB, scales effectively infinitely, but you can’t ask it “give me all records where revenue > $10K” — that’s not what it does.
